In addition, they revealed a group of players with 89 and 90 ratings for the Madden 20 Blitz promotion. Among them are Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, and Vikings cornerback Trae Waynes.
As of 7 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday night, EA Madden Ultimate Team Twitter posted another group of players. Here are the guys rated 90 or 91 overall including the Vikings’ Dalvin Cook, Eagles’ Lane Johnson, and Jaguars’ Josh Allen.
Blitz players are available in packs at Ultimate Team Store. A MUT Blitz Pack is 35,000 Coins or 500 Points. A 12X MUT Blitz Bundle is 5,850 Points and includes 2,300 Blitz Boltz currency. Gamers can also buy 100 Blitz Boltz for 500 Coins.
There are also a number of packs gamers can purchase with Blitz Boltz currency including Veterans, Elite Players, Harvest, and TOTW packs at the store.
New currency and challenges available
In addition to the new Madden 20 Blitz player items, there is a new in-game currency called Blitz Boltz. Gamers should receive a welcome pack for the promotion which includes 100 Boltz upon logging into Ultimate Team at 8 p.m. Eastern Time or after. There are a number of ways to earn Blitz Boltz.
Right now, there are some Harvest: Limited-Time Challenges available until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Nov. 28 which will give Blitz Boltz as rewards. That’s a way to get a head start ahead of the 8 p.m. ET start for the promo.
Gamers will also have new Challenges available in the Blitz Promotion. Blitz Bash will feature limited-time “House Rule style” challenges beginning at midnight. These are Blitz: Strike and Blitz: Tug of War. Every eight hours throughout MUT Blitz, these will alternate, but they’ll give Madden Coins and Blitz Boltz. It’s best to play this on two Stars to get the Blitz Boltz.
House Rules will also change up a bit to allow gamers to earn Blitz Boltz throughout the promotion. This will be done through the Blitz: Drive and Blitz: Hot Potato House Rules events.
Blitz: Drive – The offense has one drive to score and defense has to stop them.
Blitz: Hot Potato – teams receive 20 points for a 30-yard passing touchdown. There’s also a six-second pass timer and one point is deducted for an incomplete pass.
For these events, it appears that each win brings a reward of 25 Blitz Boltz and 200 Madden Coins. Each loss still receives 100 Madden Coins.
So remember, to log in around 8 p.m. Eastern Time to start participating in Blitz Boltz, with the special additional content coming at midnight. We expect we’ll see player items start to pop up on the Auction Browser very soon after the promo begins.

With Thanksgiving a week away, EA unveiled the Madden 20 Harvest promo. It includes a number of aspects including challenges, food collectibles, and Turkey Stuffer players. There was also a group of Thanksgiving Day All-Stars revealed. Here’s how to get them and how they’ll work in the Madden 20 Ultimate Team mode.
Madden 20 Harvest: Who are the Thanksgiving Day All-Star players?
There are six different players available as Thanksgiving Day All-Stars in the Madden 20 Harvest promotion. They’ll all be participating in the NFL games scheduled for Thursday, November 28. The Chicago Bears visit the Detroit Lions in the first game. That’s followed by the Buffalo Bills at the Dallas Cowboys. The New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons will conclude the turkey day NFL schedule.
In conjunction with the games, each team has one player in the Madden 20 Harvest Thanksgiving Day All-Stars. The All-Stars on offense include Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley, and Lions’ tight end T.J. Hockenson. For the defense, the Bears’ Roquan Smith, Saints’ Marshon Lattimore, and Bills’ Micah Hyde are the available players.
THANKSGIVING DAY ALL-STARS can be obtained through sets. Each players set will require you to add 3x 86-89 ovr HARVEST players and 2x 82-85 ovr HARVEST players. These sets expire 11/28 at 11am et. Upgrades will happen on 12/3. This is also when they become auctionable/tradeable. pic.twitter.com/U0D3sPbI9q
— MUT news (@mut_news1) November 21, 2019Each of the players has a 90 OVR card which will upgrade based on Thanksgiving Day game performance. Read on for more details on how to get them and how they will upgrade.
How to get these player cards in Ultimate Team
To get any of the six players available as Thanksgiving Day All-Stars will require building an exchange set. A set consists of five cards. They include any two Harvest Player cards with an 82 to 85 OVR, and any three Harvest player cards with any 86 to 89 OVR.
Gamers can acquire those player cards through packs or the Auction Browser. The 86 to 89 OVR players will be more expensive at auction listings.
It’s also possible to simply buy any or all of these Thanksgiving Day All-Star players through the Auction Browser, for a high price in Madden Coins.
How Thanksgiving Day All-Stars will get upgraded OVRs
Once any of the All-Star players are acquired, they’re ready for your team. These player cards can upgrade by as much as two points, based on Thanksgiving Day NFL performance. Here’s a look at what the six players’ individual goals are, with one upgrade point available per in-game goal:
Dak Prescott 90 OVR
(250+ Passing Yards, 3+ total TDs)
Micah Hyde 90 OVR
(4+ Total Tackles, 1+ Interceptions)
Calvin Ridley 90 OVR
(40+ Receiving Yards, 100+ Receiving Yards)
T.J. Hockenson 90 OVR
(3+ Receptions, 1+ Total TDs)
Roquan Smith 90 OVR
(6+ Total Tackles, 1+ Sacks)
Marshon Lattimore 90 OVR
(1+ Passes Defended, 1+ Interceptions)

That means any of these players could see their overall rating boost from 90 to 91 or 92 OVR. It’s possible all six could see boosts or none at all, but one has to think these guys have great potential for Thursday’s NFL games.
So basically, it could be a matter of choosing wisely in terms of which player to go for based on the goals. Even so, a 90 OVR isn’t a bad addition for specific theme teams based on the Bears, Bills, Cowboys, Lions, Falcons or Saints either.
