Harris English broke a winless drought that dates back to 2013 on Sunday night, defeating 22-year-old rising star Joaquin Niemann in a playoff to win the Sentry Tournament of Champions at the Plantation Course at Kapalua. The 31-year-old English – who will take home the $1.34 million top prize – last won on Tour in 2013 at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba. He also won the FedEx St. Jude Classic earlier that year in June.

It pays to play well on the PGA Tour, folks. Just ask this week’s winner, Daniel Berger.

The 27-year-old went out and took the trophy on Sunday, shooting a 7-under 65 in the final round to win the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am by two shots over Bay Area native Maverick McNealy. The victory is Berger’s fourth on Tour, and first since last year’s Charles Schwab Challenge in June. Berger will leave the Monterey Peninsula with the top prize of $1,404,000 while McNealy bags $850,200.
